Dr. Punya Plaban Satpathy is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Institute of Mathematics and Applications, Bhubaneswar. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan in 2020, focusing on scattering theory on locally symmetric spaces. His research interests include the cohomology of arithmetic groups, semisimple linear algebraic groups over Q, and affine Kac-Moody groups, frequently employing Chevalley construction machinery. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta and a Visitor at NISER Bhubaneswar. Currently, he is actively collaborating on projects exploring square integrability criteria in affine Kac-Moody settings and stable cohomology of arithmetic groups.
