In no way should the logo be used unless IMA, Bhubaneswar, is officially involved with a person or an organisation.

The logo of IMA symbolises important aspects of Mathematics and its application in various fields. It is recognised that revolutionary discoveries are made with important ingredients such as intuition, creativity and imagination.

The Circular logo of IMA is in the form of a Tree comprised of Numbers and Symbols of Mathematics. The images in different terminal nodes of the tree are the symbols of some well-known Application Areas where Mathematics is used as their core.
